Intervention Systems has recently developed a DVD to peer in on the Intervention's process. This DVD explains the 7 steps for a chemical dependency intervention; as well as insight, commentary and perspective from Chris Suchanek, based on his years of experience in performing chemical dependency interventions. This DVD is intended for a novice audience, and provides adequate content and resources about the basic structure of the intervention process.

This DVD is developed from the content Intervention Systems presents when doing intervention trainings. These trainings, like the DVD, provide a guide to walk you through how a chemical dependency intervention works. These trainings are typically 4-6 hours in length. This is because, in these training Chris has the opportunity to met with individuals, obtain some background information and tailor his training to the audience.

This How To, training DVD, is perfect for families and employers who just don't have the resources to host a full scale substance abuse intervention.

Neither the DVD nor the Intervention trainings are suitable replacements for an actual intervention performed by a trained Interventionist. The DVD and intervention trainings are for educational purposes only and should be used with other resources.
